“The ship docks in the centre. Why not just walk?”
You can: Piazza del Plebiscito is about fifteen minutes on foot from the Molo Angioino terminal. What walking will not give you is Posillipo, the Vomero hill and the seafront in the same morning, with air conditioning between stops in the summer heat and a driver who knows where to stop.
We meet you at the Stazione Marittima with a name sign and plan the tour around your all-aboard time. The 4-hour tour suits short port calls, and if you would rather see the coast, try our Amalfi Coast Tour; with a longer call, the full day adds a museum and a proper Neapolitan pizza.

Why do we need a walking guide if we have a driver?
Much of the historic centre of Naples is closed to cars, so the best part of the city is seen on foot. Your driver takes you around the city and to the viewpoints; the guide walks with you through Spaccanapoli and the churches and explains what you are seeing.
What do we see in 4 hours?
The seafront and Castel dell'Ovo, the Posillipo viewpoints over the bay and Vesuvius, Piazza del Plebiscito with the Royal Palace and Galleria Umberto I, and a walk through Spaccanapoli, Gesù Nuovo and San Gregorio Armeno.
What does the full-day tour add?
Time for the National Archaeological Museum or the Veiled Christ in the Sansevero Chapel, a pizza lunch in the historic centre, and the Vomero hill with the view from Castel Sant'Elmo.
Is the tour suitable for cruise passengers?

Are the museums open every day?
The National Archaeological Museum and the Sansevero Chapel are usually closed on Tuesdays. We check the opening days for your date when you book.

Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the tour. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.
