From the ferry to the island
Capri is only reached by sea. Ferries and hydrofoils run all year from Naples and Sorrento, and in season from Positano and Amalfi. We can drive you to the port with a private transfer.

How much does the Capri private day tour cost?

How do I book the Capri tour?
The Capri tour is not available in our online booking form. Email us at support@positanolimoservice.com with your date, number of guests and ferry arrival time, and we reply with availability and confirmation.
How do we get to Capri?
By ferry or hydrofoil from Naples, Sorrento or, in season, from Positano and Amalfi. We can drive you from Naples airport or your hotel to the port. The ferry ticket is not included.
Where does the tour start?
Your guide meets you at the port of Marina Grande when your ferry arrives, and brings you back there for your return ferry six hours later.
Is the Blue Grotto included?
No. The Blue Grotto is reached by boat and depends on the sea: it closes when the water is rough or at high tide. If it is open and you want to go, we plan time for it and you pay the boat and entrance on the spot.
How much walking is involved?
Capri town is traffic-free, so most of the tour is on foot: lanes, steps and a few gentle climbs, about 2 to 3 hours of walking in total with stops. Comfortable shoes are essential.
Can we visit Anacapri too?
Yes. Anacapri is reached by local bus or taxi, paid on the spot. From there you can visit Villa San Michele or take the chairlift to Monte Solaro, the highest point of the island.
What happens if the ferries are cancelled?
In very rough seas ferries to Capri can be cancelled. In that case we move your tour to another day or cancel it free of charge.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the tour. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.
