In this post, I will try to give you all the information you would need to know about how to get to Positano and neighboring countries such as Praiano and Amalfi.
First of all, where is Positano? Where is the city of Positano located? The answer is the following on the most beautiful coast in Italy. Getting to the Amalfi coast is not at all simple, unfortunately, it is not well connected, there are no flights and there are no direct means from Rome or Naples.
MY RECOMMENDATION:
If you arrive on the Amalfi Coast by train, you should take the local train from Naples to Sorrento. The train is called Circumvesuviana and then arrives in Positano by bus from Sorrento. an excellent alternative could be taken by ferry from Naples but unfortunately, ferries are not always available especially out of season.
You can also take a taxi if you want, a taxi from Naples to Positano will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes and will follow the ride by the coast. The cost is estimated at around € 130/160.
If you fly by plane, the option is to arrive at o Naples international airport my recommendation, in this case, is rented in a private transfer to your hotel remember Uber is not operating in Italy.
A valid alternative would be to use one of our services our cost for a private transfer is 120,00 euros up to 7 passengers.
